Windows 8.1 pre-installed , your windows license will expire soon?!?!

"I just updated my Windows today when they prompted and asked me to update it and restart the laptop. After updating and restarting, the laptop suddenly notifies me that my windows license will expire soon and I will need to activate it in the pcsettings.

It then brings me to a page with two choices, activate windows online or enter new product key. I tried both options but the first one won't work and the second one requires a product key which I have no idea what it is. When I look at my system information, it says that my windows 8.1 is activated.

By the way, my windows 8 is pre-installed on the laptop. Please help, I am a complete newbie in the technology field!"

Try the following.
